My details were sold to this scam by a company called sweatzsportz.com, received an email to an address setup for the use of buying from sweatzsportz.com and a few weeks later received an email claiming to be from RBS asking me to ring them if I hadn't changed my password with them.

That email is actually legit (as long as it's just asking you to phone that number, not go to a website and fill in details). I've just got one just like it and phoned my bank and had them put me through. Turned out someone had cloned my card and tried to spend £150 on Tesco online. Funny thing is I'm pretty sure my card got cloned in a Tescos.
