We get a call every other day from this number. We answer but they never speak. Quite annoying. I don't really see the point in it!

I have complained to BT about this company. I am told it is a company called Marketing Engines and that I should contact TPS with my complaint.

I received an automated telemarketing call from this number (0044 845 286 0000). I should not have been called as I have registered my private number with TPS.

The caller number is in International format so the call may have been made outside the UK.

The caller wants to sell you a service to improve search engine results for your web site. So, if you have a web site, make sure your private number is not made public by your Registrar. If not, then the caller is making random calls.

I have received a call from this number today and I think it may be a persiting problem, as we often get calls that call and then hang up but I never check the number.

I did today-
they called and hung up.

I have had a call a day for about 10 days now from this number. I know they are a spammer from this forum - any ideas on how to remove one's number from the database? This and similar marketers/spammers really impact people's efficiency as it wastes time, deters one from answering numbers you don't recognise (which could potentially be important) and is really, really annoying and frustrating.I've just stopped writing a report cos of this number calling and wanting to do something about it. I'm sure mass spamming and marketing on mobile phones is making the recession worse by wasting so much time of honest workers, and ruining efficiency. It should be banned .... rant over !

I run a waste clearance business and the first call came a few days ago from a young guy purporting to be looking for a quote. When I asked a few details, he got flummoxed, did not know the answers and hung up. I have had 2 more calls from the same number since and not answered.
