If this is Vodafone then they need to get their house in order. If this is marketing then it is having a detrimental effect to their business. They need to close this number down and sack the monkeys that they are employing to renew business. I am fed up with this.

Yes this ridiculous exactly the same thing happening to me a complete joke having one call on selling is bad enough but for them to hang up when I answer is plain stupid!

I have received phone calls everyday, for the last 2 weeks with no answer when I do pick up the phone.

1 call a week for the last three weeks. Have answered one and it was hung up almost immediatley. Very annoying as you daren't ring back for fear of it being some ofrm of disguised number that instantly costs you a fortune.

This has been going on for AT LEAST 2 years, thousands of victims have complained.

Vodafone subscribers are apparently targeted (most often, at least). The same number 08452453200 either offers upgrades which never come (in the process phishing for sensitive personal info), or simply hangs up before a converation can occur.

Vodafone claims they have nothing to do with this number and says it's not them. THey are well aware of the issue but have not done anything to investigate or (even less) to block this number form molesting their subscribers. There is NO official information from Vodafone on their site, in the form of a press release, or in a direct campaign to subscribers (like so many other things get spammed to customers regardless of interest or lack thereof).

Multiple complaints have been made to OFCOM, who have also DONE NOTHING about it.
