Rang several times during the week, always hanging up. They rang today and someone WAS THERE! Smalltalk - how are you etc, so I told her - p***** off at your silent calls! She apologised and said there must be something wrong with their phones pmsl! Said they've been doing research in area and they could save me money on my gas and leccy. Told her to do her research again cos we're not on mains gas!!! Told her to do even more research, then she would find I'm registered with TPS and she shouldn't be calling me! She apologised and hung up. Really nice girl, with the misfortune of working for a set of annoying clowns

Got a call yesterday.. phoned it back and got a recorded message... "You were called on behalf of EDF by '2Touch' our appointed representatives to discuss our latest offers."
As with others, just asked the name and the line went dead.

We were phoned at lunchtime by this number - as with other complainants, silence on the line. We are registered with TPS, so shouldn't get marketing calls (but do get electricity from EDF.)

Had a call this evening. Asked for me by name, then the line went dead. Call centre noise in the background. We are already with EDF,and ex directory.

Have been called 4 times this week by this number on my mobile phone - until I saw this site I did not know who is was. On the two occasions I did answer there was no-one there. It is very irritating and I don't know where they got my mobile number from. Cold calling like this should be banned.

Was sleeping and the phone rang so thought it must be urgent. It was this number. From this site I have realised it is EDF Energy who, funnily enough, had called around earlier(impromptu as usual)to read the electric meter. Like the previous complainant, when I answered the phone immediately went dead.

These idiots persistently call my home telephone number (ex directory), and when my wife or I pick up the receiver - the line goes dead!
Apparently the company in question is EDF Energy - I know nothing about this cowboy company, neither do I wish to.
Can we hound them out of business?
Please advise.

I just had a call from the same number. Just silence on the answer machine.

I called the number back and it says you were called by Two Touch on behalf of EDF Energy to discuss offers.

This number is calling me continuously, at least 5 times per day. When I answer, it is just call centre noise but nobody is there. Does anyone know who this is?

Rang me twice yesterday and again the day before, I finally answered today. I can hear call-centre noises in the background, but none answers, the caller hangs up after 2-3 seconds.
