Reverse Phone Lookup For Great Britain

I was contacted by this number today & my mobile is STRICTLY private as I used to get abuse calls & T Mobile were aware of that. I contacted them today and they gave me the number of the Telephone Preference Service 08450700707. I have now registered with them & hope that I do not get any more calls in future. I think the company is Communications Direct who also go under the name of 3 network - they have contacted me before & are very abrupt.

This number has rung me several times but I missed it first then i accidently hung up when trying to open my phone. I rung them back to find out what it was:
EVERYONE LISTEN: This number is from 3 Phone Network, and they were asking me about my mobile contract. I was very reluctant to talk to them, don't tell them anything, complain (or have fun with them :P) but if you get asked, don't tell them

i am fed up of this caller, the number is unique and at some point i thought it was a government office or something high profile.

i hope they never try and contact me again, now i know its mostly likely dubious callers.

this no keeps ringing my mother's mobile and my very recently deceaced farther's mobile, when she rings back there is no answer this is very upsetting behavior particularly at this time.

I was bothered three times last night by this number,last call was at 9pm.
Then at 9am the next day!

I have received 2 missed calls from this number in the last few days.
Today I received a call and answered the phone and there was no one there.
I googled the number and found numerous hits including this site.

I contacted my phone provider and asked if they can stop these calls.

The lady was very helpful and found out that the name of the company is Mobile Heaven. She put me on hold and contacted them and told them to stop calling me.

She recommended registering with http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/what/ TPS (which I'm sure I already did a few years ago).

I also have reported this call to OFCOM as a silent call.

Looking at the mobile heaven website - at http://www.mobileheaven.com/ I see that:

I find it disgusting that a company like Carphone Warehouse is involved with these nuicence marketing and silent calls.

I am now going to email Carphone Warehouse to complain (cdunstone@cpw.co.uk).

You know your post makes you sound like an absolute tosser "unless I have given them my number and permission to contact me."

Has anyone ever heard of "wrong number" you know where you think you have the right number for someone so keep calling until you get an answer then you realise for the past 3 days you've been phoning the wrong number, once your made aware of it you then don't call again.

Come on people, use a bit common sense, or has the UK lost that?

For the last couple of weeks now this number keeps calling me despite ignoring it. They never leave a voice message neither!

I never answer calls I do not recognise! Why don't they get the hint and stop calling us!

This number belongs to 3 (the mobile network) calling to find out whether you have a monthly contract or pay-as-you-go - they are incredibly rude and leaches!

As soon as you find out the caller is from 3 - hang up on them!

Keeps ringing my private number. Unsolicited call.Do not wish to be called by anyone unless I have given them my number and permission to contact me.
