This company keeps making unsolicted calls to staff on they work mobile phones, all with the same script about recovering bank charges. Would like to know how they have got all our mobile phone numbers.

They have just phoned me. Didnt recognise the number so didnt bother answering. Im glad i didnt after reading all this. Im Assuming its a big scam

Missed the call, didn't recognize the number so checked it out on Google which lead to this site, obviously a SCAM!

I reported Customer Claims Ltd to Greater Manchester Police. GMP say they are a legitimate company who assist people in recovering bank charges.

Just got called on my mobile by this number, and when I answered they hung up. Rang back and spoke to a chap who said he is called David Johnson. He said they are called Customer Claims, and can get my bank charges refunded.
My workmate checked the number while I was on the phone, and saw this is dodgy, so I thought I'd find out a bit more. Apparently they have a website (under construction): www.customerclaims.co.uk, but there is no holding page! I asked for their registration number on Company House, and it is 06722462. Checked this and they are registered at 1 Portland Street in Manchester, probably just a post box rather than an office.
Was told there would be a £9 admin fee for them to send me further info, so said no thanks.
If this is an illegal scam, then it should be extremely easy to track down the person responsible by comtacting Company House and finding out more info about the business..

Just had a missed call off this number - didn't recognise it so Googled it and this came up. They're messing with the wrong person if they think I'm stupid enough to fall for their scam. Now added the number to the 'reject list' on my mobile, but unsure what this entails - hopefully it means they won't even get a connection.

Had a missed call from this number as they rung and hung up before the phone even made a noise. Checked it on Google.
Likely that they are getting your number from filling it in online is my guess (order forms/contact details)
Have had missed calls from 0161 numbers previously- unsure if it is the same number?

i recieved a call from this number today (feb 25) woke me up, i didnt recognize the number so i didnt pick up, out of curiosity i decided to google it just to see what area it was from...stupid people need to get proper jobs, and contribute to society instead of stealing other peoples money!

Had a missed call on my mobile today just after 16.00 off this so called Customer Claims Team, called them back off my landline number but only got answering machine...........didn't bother to leave a message but googled the phone number instead and got to read all these messages left.................Jeeeeeeeez, i hope not many are silly enough to just give out bank details etc to these fraudsters.
They need catching and quick!.

they have had me today they rung my work phone asked me all my details when they asked 4 my bank details i got suspisous and told em i left my card at home they imediatly ringed my home address and told my girlfriend id gave them phone number and requested her to give them 16digit number which she did as they had all my details they have emptyed my bank

I had a phone call from them regarding bank charges smelt a rat as I dont have any bank charges and hung up.

hi just had a call from these people who were claim that they could get me £1465 back in bank charges. for a fee off 49.00 which of cousre i will get back in 6-10 weeks so she said. then the red light started to go off in my head and i asked her some ? i asked where she was phoning from she said they call centre in stockport!!! i also asked where she got my number from she said the bank has pasted my number on to then (funny as the bank does not have my mob number) i also asked her if they had a web site i could look at and guess what SHE HUNG UP!!!!
dont give these people ur bank details of any info about ur self
i have rang the police and they are looking in to it they have the number off the caller so hopefully they will catch these people.

Got call from them today at 1850 didn't answer rang number and it said customer claim is closed ring bk between 10am 6pm if ur closed why did they ring me this was 25th call from them today but I was at police station making complaint on there last call so got one of the officers to answer it.

Received a call today (feb 22) similar to those above. When I challenged them tp provide further details they hung up. Hopefully that's the end of it, but I doubt it.

Hang up call to my mobile, but could hear office noises in the background.
The best way to deal with these people is to say you are interested and can they hold on a minute then mute the call and let them hang on until they give up

They are a bunch of crooks. When I asked which company they said "Customer Claims" so I said I'd never heard o9f them and they hung up. When I called back, they pretended they couldn't hear me and hung up.

they've rung me today and said that i could claim my bank charges back and without me knowing they've charged me £80 for it, therefore i rung my bank and expalined what happend and apparentlly its a fraud company and they've received lots of calls with the same problem, i can't do anything until the actual payment comes up on my statement and then they can do something about it. i have changed my phone number and strictlly said the mobile provider not to give it to anybody unless i do so. even rung the police and apparently it was in the newspapers too, can't belive it how could i miss it. well i learnt my lesson well and since now on i wont pick up the number not listed in my phonebook.

Unsolicited calls day and night. I asked how they got the number and they said it was generated by automatic software which simply dials the next one in sequence.
I asked under the terms of the Data Protection Act for them to remove my details.from their records..... the caller hung up on me.

They are from "Customer Claims" or something. Making out they will claim bank charges on your behalf. Sounds very much like a scam.

They called my mobile telling me that I should claim back all bank charges that I have paid for the past 6 years. Having told them that I have not paid any late charges and never have, they then tried to tell me that I should be claiming back my card protection payments - utter nonsense. I told them I have a financial advisor who manages my finances and they then said that my financial advisor is not doing a good job because they haven't claimed any charges back. I told him to them to get their facts correct before calling anyone and they hung up.
Getting tired of these types of calls..
